Epstein estate to settle suit with victims for at least $25 million - Breitbart

Breitbart News Network
Jeffrey Epstein’s estate will settle a lawsuit with abuse survivors for at least $25 million, without admitting wrongdoing.

Summary

The executors of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit brought by survivors of his abuse for a minimum of $25 million. The lawsuit alleged that Epstein’s lawyer, Darren Indyke, and accountant, Richard Kahn, facilitated and concealed his illegal conduct for financial gain. While the settlement will be paid from the remaining Epstein assets, Indyke and Kahn maintain they committed no wrongdoing, stating no one has accused them of sexual abuse. The payout will be $25 million if fewer than 40 class members are eligible, increasing to $35 million if more than 40 are eligible. Victims receiving funds must release any future claims and forgo previous settlements from the Epstein estate or compensation fund. The suit claimed Indyke and Kahn structured bank accounts to allow Epstein access to cash for sex trafficking and coerced victims into sham marriages for immigration status, allegations they deny.
