SiriusXM will pay $28 million to settle a lawsuit alleging unwanted calls to those on do-not-call lists.

Summary

SiriusXM has agreed to a $28 million settlement regarding a 2022 lawsuit that claimed the company violated telemarketing laws by repeatedly contacting individuals registered on the National Do Not Call Registry or those who had specifically requested not to be called. The company denied any wrongdoing as part of the agreement. Individuals who received more than one call from SiriusXM between April 27, 2019, and October 31, 2025, and were either on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 31 days or requested to be placed on SiriusXM’s internal do-not-call list but continued to receive calls, may be eligible to file a claim. The deadline to file a claim is March 21, with a final approval hearing scheduled for May 11.
