Class members have two payment options: reimbursement for documented losses (up to $500 for ordinary losses and $2,500 for extraordinary losses like identity theft) or a flat $50 cash payment. All class members are also eligible for two years of three-bureau credit monitoring with $1 million in identity theft protection. The claim deadline is January 20, 2026, and claims can be filed online, by mail, or by requesting a paper form. The settlement fund will also cover notice and administration costs, attorney’s fees, and a service award to the class representative. Benefit Profiles Inc. denies any wrongdoing but settled to avoid further litigation costs.
