The case settled with Unilever agreeing to source ingredients from Palestinian suppliers and make payments, but the Board alleges Unilever failed to disburse funds, blocked free speech initiatives like calling for a Gaza ceasefire, and interfered with the CEO and the Ben & Jerry's Foundation. In December 2025, Magnum demerged from Unilever, taking Ben & Jerry's with it, and subsequently pressured the Foundation, removed independent directors, and altered governance, escalating the dispute.
