During the proceedings, the court noted that six mediation sessions have already been conducted and that the parties involved are cooperating. The parties have engaged in detailed discussions concerning their respective claims and entitlements related to the trust structure and its corpus. To assist in this process, the mediator has enlisted the help of a senior chartered accountant and a tax expert.
The court expressed optimism that the dispute could be resolved amicably, urging the parties to maintain an "open mind and open heart" to avoid years of litigation. The bench has permitted the mediation process to continue until November 2, awaiting a subsequent report from the mediator.
