Specifically, Kaplan alleges that Prasad directed unauthorized transfers of at least $35 million from the hospitals to Westlaw LLC, a bank account controlled solely by Prasad.
The West Suburban Medical Center remains closed, with critical infrastructure issues such as non-functional elevators. While the facility continues to receive significant weekly revenue from medical procedures, the exact allocation of these funds remains unclear amidst the ongoing litigation.
