Adani Enterprises posts quarterly loss on OFAC settlement, reports record EBITDA

Adani Enterprises Ltd posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 1,160 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, largely because of a one‑time Rs 2,644 crore charge related to a settlement with the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Despite the loss, the company recorded a record quarterly operating profit, with EBITDA rising 49 % to Rs 5,642 crore. Revenue from operations grew about 50 % to Rs 33,546 crore, driven by significant expansion in its copper and airports businesses; copper sales quadrupled and airport revenue increased 35 %. The company also reported higher operating costs, particularly due to increased fuel prices, and a sharp rise in material costs. Adani Enterprises highlighted milestones such as the launch of international operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport, toll collections on the Ganga Expressway, expansion of solar module capacity, and a new 400‑MW hyperscale data‑center order. In addition, the firm raised Rs 15,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement, reflecting strong investor confidence. Overall, the results underscore the company’s diversified portfolio and its focus on infrastructure and incubation platforms to drive future growth.
