Got a ticketmaster lawsuit email? Class action suit includes those who bought tickets since 2010

Knoxville News-Sentinel
A nationwide class action lawsuit alleges Ticketmaster and Live Nation charged inflated ticket fees to fans who bought primary concert tickets since 2010.

Summary

A federal court in California has authorized a nationwide class action lawsuit, Popp, et al. v. Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. and Ticketmaster LLC, alleging that the companies charged inflated ticket fees to consumers. The lawsuit covers individuals who purchased primary concert tickets directly from Ticketmaster or a Live Nation affiliate at major U.S. venues since 2010. The companies deny wrongdoing. Eligibility is determined by purchasing a primary ticket with associated fees for a concert at a "major concert venue" (defined as the top 500 U.S. venues by ticket sales according to Pollstar) since 2010. Notices have been sent to potential class members, and while no action is required to participate, individuals who wish to opt out must submit a written request by July 6, 2026. The trial is scheduled for June 6, 2027.
