Coventry Retains Top Spot In Life Settlement Market For 13th Consecutive Year

Bernama
Coventry has maintained its leading position in the life settlement market for the 13th year in a row, based on key metrics.

Summary

Coventry has been recognized as the leading life settlement provider in the secondary market for 2025, marking its 13th consecutive year at the top. This ranking is based on the total number of policies purchased, the total face value of those policies, and the total amount paid to policyowners, as reported in Coventry’s 2025 Life Settlement League Table Report. The company and its affiliate, Life Equity, purchased over 1,400 policies with a face value of approximately US$1.6 billion, and paid policyowners over US$240 million.

Coventry CEO Reid Buerger attributes this continued success to the company’s scale, reliable execution, and strategic capital allocation, as well as the dedication of its employees, rigorous processes, and investment in technology.

Coventry’s vertically integrated model and proprietary data allow for more accurate policy evaluations, broader purchase criteria, and customized outcomes for policyowners, solidifying its position as a pioneer in the secondary life insurance market.
