Mantle has announced a collaboration with Everclear to introduce Cross-Chain Asset Settlement, a new feature designed to streamline the onboarding process, improve liquidity efficiency, and facilitate the flow of assets into the Mantle ecosystem. This integration allows users to directly swap wETH from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, or Polygon into mETH on Mantle without the typical friction associated with traditional bridging.
Everclear’s clearing and settlement infrastructure addresses liquidity fragmentation by netting cross-chain flows and automatically rebalancing inventory, reducing redundancy and lowering costs. Users can now access Mantle using existing assets, with Everclear handling the settlement and rebalancing in the background, often completing the process in under one minute. Emily Bao, Key Advisor of Mantle, emphasized that efficient settlement is crucial for the usability of on-chain assets and that this integration supports Mantle’s RWA and ETH-native strategy.
This collaboration marks a step towards chain-abstracted finance, where users can interact with assets without managing the complexities of bridges and fragmented representations. Mantle is the first launch partner for Everclear’s expanded cross-asset settlement initiative, with plans to support additional ETH-based assets, stablecoins, and new chains in the future.
