SiriusXM may owe you money. Here's what to know about settlement

The Arizona Republic
SiriusXM will pay $28 million to settle a lawsuit regarding unwanted calls to those on the Do Not Call Registry.

Summary

SiriusXM has agreed to a $28 million settlement to resolve a lawsuit alleging the company violated telemarketing laws by repeatedly contacting individuals on the National Do Not Call Registry or those who requested to be removed from their call list. The lawsuit, initially filed in 2022, claims SiriusXM continued to call consumers despite their requests to stop. While SiriusXM maintains it did nothing wrong, the settlement allows eligible customers to file claims for a payment, with individual amounts dependent on the total number of valid claims received.

To qualify for a payment, individuals must have received more than one call from SiriusXM between April 27, 2019, and October 31, 2025, and either been registered on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 31 days or specifically requested to be added to SiriusXM’s internal do-not-call list.

The deadline to file a claim is March 21, with objections due by March 27 and a final approval hearing scheduled for May 11. Claim forms are available on the SiriusXM settlement website.
