Bank of America has settled a class action lawsuit alleging it charged two out-of-network fees for balance inquiries at ATMs inside 7-Eleven stores. The bank denied any wrongdoing. The settlement, valued at $2.25 million, is available to current and former account holders who were charged more than one fee during a single visit to an FCTI-owned ATM between May 1, 2018, and Nov. 26, 2021. Former account holders can file a claim by June 29, 2026, while current account holders in the class do not need to take action. The final approval hearing is scheduled for Aug. 21, 2026.
