The settlement benefits consumers in California who purchased certain PetSafe e-collars between October 1, 2018, and October 31, 2022. The lawsuit claimed the collars could cause physical and psychological harm. Class members can receive payments of $30-$140 per product, depending on the type, with up to three products claimable without proof of purchase. The deadline to file a claim is December 2, 2025, and the final approval hearing is scheduled for January 26, 2026.
